Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
The sections below distinguish native Echoes 3.0, website visits, and the previously published disclosures for Solid Man and earlier Echoes versions.
Echoes 3.0
This policy describes the native Echoes 3.0 app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, provided by Information Architect, LLC. It covers the app’s local reading features, purchases, sharing, and optional support contact.
Reading data stays on your device
Echoes does not require an app account. Your favorites, recent reading history, collection and topic choices, appearance and reading settings, optional name, share message, and reminder settings are stored on your device. Echoes does not send these items to Information Architect or synchronize them through a developer-operated cloud service.
The reading library and artwork are bundled with the app. Echoes has no advertising, embedded analytics, tracking SDK, Firebase service, or third-party crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell your reading data or use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
When upgrading from a supported earlier release, Echoes may import existing preferences stored on the same device. Original preference data and local recovery copies may remain on the device. Operating-system backups may include app data according to your Apple and device settings; this is separate from app-provided cloud synchronization.
Optional reminders
Reminders use Apple’s local notification system. Echoes asks for notification permission when you enable and save a reminder. Your chosen schedule and selected quotation content are handled on your device. Notifications may display quotation text on your lock screen according to your system settings. You can disable reminders in Echoes or change notification permissions in system Settings.
Purchases and Apple services
Apple processes the lifetime in-app purchase. Echoes uses Apple’s StoreKit to obtain product information and verify or restore purchase entitlement on the device. Echoes does not send transaction information to an Information Architect server, and Information Architect does not receive your payment-card details through Echoes.
Apple separately handles App Store transactions, account services, and any operating-system diagnostics or backups you choose to use. Those services are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy and your Apple settings.
Sharing and external links
When you choose to share, Echoes passes the quotation image and caption, including any share message you entered, to Apple’s system share interface. The destination you select handles the content under its own privacy practices. Echoes does not upload shared quotations to a developer-operated feed or server.
Opening a source citation, support page, privacy page, or other external link takes you to a website outside the app. The destination and your browser may process information about that visit. The Information Architect website uses website analytics; that does not add analytics to the native Echoes reading app.
Contacting support
If you email support or use the website’s email contact form, you choose to send your email address, message, and any attachments or other information you include. We use that correspondence to respond to and resolve your request. It is handled through the email services used to send and receive your message. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated sensitive information.
You can ask about or request deletion of support correspondence by emailing syatsenko@gmail.com. There is no Echoes app account or developer-hosted reading profile to delete. You can edit your optional name, share message, favorites, and reminder choices within the app. Deleting an iPhone or iPad app removes its local app storage, subject to retained operating-system backups. Removing the Mac application may leave local app data; contact support for help removing that data. Apple manages its own purchase records and backup retention separately.
Scope and changes
This policy applies to native Echoes 3.0. Earlier Echoes releases and Solid Man have separate disclosures on the publisher’s privacy-policy page. The Echoes 3.0 disclosures do not change how those versions or other apps behave.
We will update this policy if Echoes’ privacy practices change. For privacy questions, contact syatsenko@gmail.com or visit Information Architect support.
Website visits
The Information Architect website is separate from the native Echoes app. Website hosting services process requests needed to serve pages, and the website includes Google Analytics to understand website use. Google may process browser, device, page-interaction, and network information when its analytics script runs; see Google’s Privacy Policy. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may limit that processing. This website disclosure does not mean that native Echoes 3.0 embeds Google Analytics or sends its local reading data to the website.
The support form opens your email application with the name, email address, and message you enter. You choose whether to send that message. Support correspondence is used to answer your request, as explained above.
